AMELION kommen aus finnland und dürften den meisten unter uns total unbekannt sein. sie spielen einen sehr gut arrangierten funreal death black doom der einfach zu begeistern weiß , abgrundtiefe grunts und eine schöne melodei was will man mehr. also probierts mal aus ich bin jedenfalls fasziniert von dieser combo . das eizigste was man bemängeln könnte wäre dieses komische keyboard was ab und an mal erklingt, das ist teilweise total schräg aber vielleicht ist das auch das tüpfelchen auf dem i. 11 tracks gibt es hier zu downloaden... also dann man die connections gewetzt und ran an die buletten
Hi. I played guitar, sung and wrote most of the songs in Amelion. I found this forum by Google, wondering if there´s anything to be found about Amelion in the net. I'm kind of amazed about how people outside Finland have even heard of this band. After all, we're only three young guys from a small town (25 000 people) in Finland. Well. I'm just happy if anyone likes our music. They aren't the best sounding, accurately played and arranged songs, but.. well I guess someone likes them.
And oh. We don't really call our music "doom" because there's so much different influences from different genres of metal. It might sound like doom every now and then but doom fans are usually quite "puritanic" of how doom should sound.. So we just avoid any "u r not tr00"-discussion by not calling it doom.
We have actually planned that within couple of years we regroup Amelion with a good line-up, make demos and try to get gigs. So.. there might be more Amelion to be heard some day..
